Save the Children Thailand team would like to provide an update on our response to the flooding in Southern Thailand. Our field teams have now delivered emergency kits for children and families to those affected as quickly as possible.
Each kit includes essential items for young children and households, such as diapers, baby supplies, soap, toothbrushes, waterproof bags, and other basic necessities to help reduce risks and support safety during crisis.

In addition, we will now move into the recovery phase to ensure children can return to school safely and families can regain stability as quickly as possible. We will work with local agencies to repair damaged schools, establish and support temporary learning spaces, and provide learning materials and teaching supplies to affected schools. We will also support vulnerable families with essential items for children. Furthermore, we will continue monitoring and supporting the mental and emotional well-being of children and families through psychological first aid activities, to restore their sense of safety, learning, and stability.
Thank you to everyone who has offered encouragement and support for children and families during this difficult time.
Your contributions have helped keep children and their families safe both physically and emotionally when they need it most.
