Bangkok (13 January 2024) – Value Sourcing Co., Ltd., a leader in ready-to-eat Italian cuisine under the Reo’s Deli brand, has joined forces with Save the Children Thailand to announce the success of the “Every Bite for Every Child” project. This initiative aimed to raise funds to support malnourished children in the southern border provinces, particularly in Yala. The project received an overwhelming response from customers nationwide, raising a total of 2,011,103 THB.

Under this project, Reo’s Deli donated 1 THB for every product sold during the campaign period, from 1 to 30 November 2024. The funds supported Save the Children’s LEARN (Literacy Empowerment Alliance for a Resilient New-Generation) initiative in Raman District, Yala Province. This area, one of the five provinces most affected by severe malnutrition, has alarming statistics from the Ministry of Public Health: 20% of children aged 1-5 suffer from stunted growth, significantly higher than the national average of 13%. Additionally, over 40,000 children in the area experience delayed psychological and cognitive development.

Furthermore, the project engaged stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and employees, in contributing to its success, showcasing the collective power of collaboration in addressing critical challenges.

The project raised 2,011,103 THB through product sales and additional donations from stakeholders. The funds will benefit 400 young children from 20 childcare centers in the region, providing access to nutritious school meals and age-appropriate nutrition education activities for 12 months.

In addition to providing nutritious school meals, the project focused on empowering childcare center teachers with knowledge and skills to deliver appropriate nutrition education to children and parents. The initiative also included the creation of bilingual storybooks (Thai–Malay Patani) to promote nutritional awareness and quality time between parents and children, fostering sustainability in early childhood nutrition development across communities.
