Breaking Barriers

Education is the gateway to opportunity for every child.

But for migrant children in Thailand, the path to education is still filled with obstacles—ranging from lack of access to legal documentation and essential learning resources, to language barriers and unsupportive learning environments.

The Breaking Barriers project aims to help children overcome these challenges through a multi-faceted approach. This includes raising awareness and understanding about necessary documentation and procedures, using technology to improve access to information, and building the capacity of teachers, community leaders, and volunteers to become key supporters in children’s academic journeys.

The project also provides essential school supplies, promotes inclusive and supportive learning environments, and advocates for policies that ensure continued and equitable access to education—paving the way for a future that every child deserves.
